Everytime I think of Kris and Ryan I can’t help but smile.  When they contacted me about photographing their wedding I never thought it was blossom into a friendship.  They both have beautiful, warm, and inviting personalities.  Can’t help but love and be loved by these people.

Their gorgeous wedding day was full of smiles, sunshine and TONS of DIY projects.  The couple had plenty of small details that they put together themselves! Enjoy the photos of their beautiful and memorable day together.

Kristin contracted her brother, K.C. to design the programs and other small details of her wedding.  He is a wonderful graphic designer, I’m a huge fan of his work!

Kristin’s wedding dress was hand-made by a local seamstress.

Kristin & Ryan purchased an old typewriter from a local thrift shop to add a vintage touch to their wedding details.

The bride & groom actually hand picked these chicken feather from the ground of a local farm! Talk about dedication for details!

Kristin wore her mom’s old watch down the aisle.

The First Look is always such an emotion part of the day.

This group shot was taken in a matter of seconds due to the traffic on the road.  I’m pretty sure the bridal party has experience in modeling with how quickly they managed to run then pose.

The bride & groom worked for months in gathering vintage and rustic details to perfect their vision. After rolls of burlap, chicken feather picking, white paint, and mason jar collecting, it worked seamlessly!

The foot washing added a personal and spiritual touch to their ceremony.

If the wedding wasn’t perfect enough, Ryan composed and sang a song to his beautiful bride during the reception.

Lastly, the couple used bird seeds for their send-off! How genius is that? No clean-up needed!
